This sound is most likely the "condenser fan". Check for any debris or items that may have fallen behind the refrigerator. Try to slightly change the position of the refrigerator as the fan may be hitting something that is close to it and prevents it from turning.
Make sure not to overload the machine. Putting too many items in one load will cause the washer to vibrate as well as will make it much less effective. Spread the clothes evenly within the washer tub to make sure the load is even.
Check the floor for any detergent spills or anything that may cause it to be slippery. The washing machine needs to have stable and level ground for it not to move around much.
If the machine is on, first stop the machine. If you find that the Home drain line is clogged, the water that is being drained from the washing machine cannot drain out to the home pipes, this may cause flooding under the washing machine. If this is the case you need to contact your maintenance team or a plumber and do not use the machine until the issue is fixed.
If the machine is on, first stop the machine. Check the water valves of your home. The water may be dripping at the faucet. If this is the case, you need to contact your maintenance team or a plumber to fix the valves.
Check the vent duct leading from the dryer to the house wall. Make sure it is not loose or crushed.
The home vent ducts may be clogged. If this is the case, moisture cannot be expelled from the dryer to the outside and the clothes will not dry. Call your maintenance team or a plumber to clear any blocks in the home vent ducts.
Make sure to clean the lint screen before each and every use. A dirty lint screen will extremely reduce the efficiency of the dryer causing it to take very long to dry.
